August news, take two! (My first post got deleted somehow, so here we go again!)
Hope you all have had a great summer! It's been a very busy one for me and I realized I haven't put up a blog post in a while, so I thought it's time to update everyone on some exciting happenings this summer!
I just got back from the Canadian Guitar Festival in Kingston, Ontario. This was my second year at the festival and it gets better and better each year! It was so great to see the best fingerstlye guitarists in the world play, and meet up with some old friends and play some fingerstlye guitar! I'd highly recommend you attend if your at all into fingerstyle music.
One of the highlights from the trip for me was playing my first show in Canada at the Central in Toronto. I was privaliaged to share the stage with Dylan Ryche and Dallas Sutherland, two very good friends and amazing guitarists. It was such a fun show!

New Recording! - "Duets: Strategic Tension"
I'm excited to announce the release of "Duets: Strategic Tension" as a digital-only release! I'm really excited about this recording! "Duets: Strategic Tension" is a collaboration with violinist Anna Savery featuring arrangements of four compositions from the 2012 Strategic Tension album for guitar and violin. I'm really excited about how this project turned out and hopefully there will be more collaborations in the future! The EP was recorded on July 23rd, 2014 live with no overdubs, and I did the mixing and mastering myself on this project, which I'm pretty proud of! You can listen for free and download a copy for only $5 on my website, or you can pay-what-you-want on my bandcamp page
A new take on some old favorites, featuring virtuoso violinist Anna Savery, this Digital only EP features four songs from 2012's Strategic Tension arranged for Violin and Guitar. Recorded Live with no overdubs on July 23rd, 2014.

New Video! - "Letting Go"
Check out this new video of a live performance of "Letting Go" that I recorded at the Stonebridge Guitars Headquarters in Kitchener, Ontario on my recent trip to Canada. I'm proud to endorse Stonebridge Guitars and really love the feel and playability of these instruments. Check out the interview I did with them about the new album on their website!
